Affordable Housing

Affordable housing is a subsidized rental housing unit or rental assistance for households where people typically pay 30% of their income for rent.  Units are subsidized to make the unit affordable for tenants.  The resources and tools below include information on creating and accessing affordable housing units in communities and examples of innovative subsidy programs that can inform affordable housing strategies during a COVID-19 response.
